Design and history
Arch Logan prepared Little Jim’s design and backbone components before Bill Couldrey completed the yacht at Sulphur Beach under Logan’s supervision.
Her triple-skin kauri construction, counter and balanced sailing characteristics made her both a competitive yacht and a practical Hauraki Gulf cruiser.

REFIT PROGRAMME
Refit programme
Brookes Boatbuilders began Little Jim’s refit in 2007.
The work renewed the structure and systems required for continued sailing while retaining the yacht’s established character and handling.
